CHARNAE PAYNE

National Miss

2025-2026

Charnae is a 25-year-old medical student prospect, professional model, and content creator. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health at Wagner College, where she received an $80,000 Presidential Academic Scholarship to pursue her studies. During her time at Wagner, Charnae served as the Student Government Association President, Vice President of the Black Student Union, a 10-month Community Leader, and as a Diversity Director for Peer Health, where she taught health and sex education to high school students through the Peer Health Exchange Organization. At Peer Health, she furthered her desire to educate others on the importance of health equity, civic engagement, and the meaning and significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

After college, Charnae worked part-time at an oral and cosmetic surgery center. As an aspiring future doctor, she hopes to one day own an aesthetic and plastic practice that will include a wellness component. When she is not learning about new aesthetic techniques, she works as an on-air television model for QVC, as well as a commercial model and actress. She has had the pleasure of working with many notable companies like Cadillac, Cerve, David's Bridal, Hyatt Hotels, Moroccan Oil, Nautica, just to name a few.

The daughter of two nurses, Charnae has always had a heart for service, whether it's handing out home-cooked meals to the unhoused during the holidays or donating clothing and non-perishable goods to local shelters. With her love for pouring into others, Charnae created her platform, Fuze Your F.I.R.E., which is all about inspiring the next generation of Fierce, Infringable, Resilient, and Empowered young women. Charnae connects young girls to positive peer mentors in their community and gives them the proper tools to excel in their future career paths. Her mission for this initiative is to encourage young women to be multifaceted, to dream big, and not to limit their potential due to societal norms. In addition to all her service endeavors, she is also co-owner of a dessert catering business with her mom and coordinates everything from kids' parties to weddings.

During Internationals, Charnae’s favorite part was meeting new people from all over the World. From the energy-filled parties, the late-night meet-ups to practice opening number, to the little moments cheering each other on Backstage, are what make the week so special to her. For Charnae, pageantry is not about winning but personal growth, impact, and, most importantly, the friendships you make along the way.

Fun Fact: Charnae grew up singing, and for a short period, she spent time playing the piano and taught herself to play the guitar when she was a teenager.
