With a heart rooted in faith and a smile that lights up every room, Avie-Lou “Lou” Soles truly lets her light shine. This bright-hearted 10-year-old proudly calls Polk County, Florida, home, where she’s a straight-A student entering the fifth grade at a private Christian school. To Lou, there are no strangers…only friends she hasn’t met yet, and she has a special gift for making everyone feel like they belong.

Life is one big adventure for Lou. Whether she’s swinging for the fences on the baseball field, performing with her drama club, riding her bike or four-wheeler, or making the biggest splash in the pool with her dogs, Boca and T-Rex, she embraces every moment with joy. If there’s music playing, chances are you’ll find her singing karaoke, dancing, and inviting everyone to join in!

Some of Lou’s favorite adventures are the ones she shares with her twin brother and best friend, Hoyt. Whether they’re having Nerf gun battles, challenging each other with Bible verses, or turning an ordinary day into an adventure, the two are always laughing, making memories, and keeping their family on their toes. And if she’s not at the ballpark, you’ll probably find Lou hunting—”squishy hunting” that is—or planning her next family “Yes Day.”

To Lou, every adventure is another chance to learn, laugh, serve others, and let her light shine. Through her community service platform, Lou’s Lending Hands, she partners with KidsPACK of Polk County and The Mission to share kindness and support with children and families throughout her community. Guided by Matthew 5:16, she strives to reflect God’s love through every smile, every hug, and every act of kindness. While she has been honored with the 4X Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Lou believes that even the smallest hands can make the biggest difference by helping others feel seen, loved, and encouraged.

Her biggest dream is to become a marine biologist, exploring the ocean, protecting marine life, and making waves by inspiring others to care for God’s incredible creation.

As your 2026–2027 International United Miss Junior Preteen, she hopes every child she meets leaves feeling seen, loved, and encouraged to let their own light shine.

Did You Know? Lou is part Japanese, and one of her favorite International United Miss memories was wearing a traditional Japanese kimono during the World’s Fair Party to celebrate her heritage.
