Hi everyone! I’m Saylor Vaughn Cutting your newly crowned 2023-2024 International United Miss Teen. I’m 18 years old and I was born and raised in the great state of Texas. I’m an incoming Honors College freshman at the University of Houston majoring in Computer Science! I have a passion for STEM, a love for cats, and an ambition for IUM.

I have had a love for education ever since I was little and I’ve carried it with me till this very day. I graduated high school with a 4.6 GPA at the top of my class out of 800 students and now I’m a student of the Honors College at the University of Houston! I’ve particularly had a love for math and technology since the beginning of my high school career enabling me to find my passion in computer science, specifically cyber security. As a woman in STEM, I wasn’t always secure in pursuing my passion for computer science due to the negative stigma placed behind women in a male-dominated field. However, my mission as your IUM Teen is to inspire other girls like me to follow your passions and ambitions regardless of your gender or stereotypes.

When I’m not busy with my own education I spend my time educating others as a math tutor for students in middle school up to high school. Now I promise I’m not a total nerd I love getting glam and doing hair and makeup on not only myself but others for events like pageants, weddings, and proms. My ultimate goal in life is to become a crazy cat lady! I love cats and even have an Instagram for my very own cat Sammie. A bucket list item of mine is to travel to Tokyo and visit Cat Island!

And lastly, something that is most important to me is sisterhood. As an only child within a small family, my Sisters by Sash are my family, which is why I fell in love with IUM. IUM withholds a sisterhood like no other, not only within the titleholders, but within the staff, directors, and even parents which makes IUM so unique. Im able to be my own authentic self and be surrounded by those who support, uplift, and celebrate me! IUM is truly like no other and the only way to feel the love is to join the sisterhood and experience it firsthand!
