Hello Everyone! My name is Emersyn Thacker but my friends call me Emmy! I’m seven years old and I live in Iowa!

I absolutely love school. In my school I love participating in the after school clubs, art class and the Gifted Talented program. When I’m not at school you will find me busy at the dance studio in tumbling class and working hard as a competitive dancer. This year I’m competing in Pom, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. I love all styles of dance. Outside of dance I play soccer in the Fall. Some of my other interests are crafts, gardening, dolls and playing outside with my brother. Oh and shopping!

When I grow up I want to own an inclusive day care that includes kids with special needs. I also want to become a Mom so I can go shopping whenever I want to.

My community service project is called Emersyn’s Exceptionally Inclusive Projects. I donate to the activity box in my community several times a month. I also work hard to make sure kids like my brother feel loved and included. I work to spread awareness about Autism Acceptance. I can’t wait to use my International United Miss Princess title to make a difference in my community, state and nation.

This was my first time competing for IUM and I had the absolute best time! The PJ party and meeting new friends was my favorite part of the week! IUM wants girls to be themselves and be their age. (My Mom loved that when she was researching.) Internationals was an absolute amazing experience for my whole family! We were raving all week to our pageant friends about how great it was! I was so shocked and so excited to win and was already spoiled with so much.

The IUM communication is top notch and you will go into nationals week feeling prepared. Miss Krisann and Miss Holly are seriously the best directors! The entire week was stress free. Experience the IUM difference and join us next year! You won’t regret it!
