Whether she’s slaying a runway, making a mess in the kitchen, or making an impact by inspiring curly girls everywhere, Jaksyn Brown is more than a pageant girl.
Jaksyn Brown is an enthusiastic 14 year old from Red Oak, Texas who came to International United Miss as your Southwest States Junior Teen and is beyond grateful to have come home as your National United Junior Miss 2026-2027!
Jaksyn Brown is a three-time published author and natural hair influencer who launched her “Celebrate Your Crown” campaign in 2020 to support the CROWN Act (Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural hair). Since launching her initiative, she has created a coloring book for girls, hosted youth workshops, partnered with Dove for their #AsEarlyAsFive campaign and worked with non-profit organizations across the country, donating over 500 Black hair care products through her “Hair Like Mine” community service initiative. A powerful public speaker, Jaksyn campaigns nationally for natural hair acceptance and the CROWN Act through spoken word and speeches. Through the years, Celebrate Your Crown’s message has grown to be more than just about hair. It's celebrating whatever makes you different, special, or unique which is why she launched her Authenticity Day series in 2025 - the Perfect Day to celebrate the uniqueness in everyday girls.
Beyond making an impact, she is a girl who loves baking (cake pops are her specialty), binge watching TV shows but never finishing them, and pursuing her artistic abilities as a theatre student at her performing arts high school. She is excited to live out the #IUMDifference through her reign and eager to share every layer of her fun-loving personality.
