I grew up on a farm in Kansas. At the age of three, I started dancing and showing dairy cattle. At the age of 11, I started doing pageants and still continue to compete. After high school, I moved to Texas to attend Kilgore Community College receiving an Associate in Fine Arts, and attended the University of North Texas graduating with a Fashion Design degree. My husband and I live in Parker, Texas, and have been married for seventeen years. We have an eight-year-old son. I am the owner of Capture the Crown Pageant Coaching, hair and makeup, and own my personal makeup line Glitter Makeup. I also have worked my way up in Parklane Jewelry as a Branch Manager. You may spot me in the Parklane lookbook and website as a model.

I have appeared in reality TV shows “Girl Meets Gown”, the Dr. Pepper commercial and The Presidents Men movie just name a few.

I have a collection of about 35 Holiday Barbie’s collection one for each year. My whole family loves building Legos. We have Lego collections displayed around our house, and some of my favorite gifts are red Lego roses from my husband and son.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a double Mastectomy and went through chemotherapy. I created my platform “Perfectly Pink” 15 years ago telling my mother’s story of her battle as a two-time breast cancer survivor. Now, I share our story; Educating others of the importance of early detection.

One of the best things that I love about IUM is what it stands for by encouraging you to make a difference and be part of your community. The acronym #beHEROIC is what I aspire to live by every day.

IUM is an amazing organization that treats everyone like family! I felt like part of the family from the moment I competed at the state pageant. I encourage other girls to experience the IUM difference and compete in an IUM state pageant or apply for an appointed title. I can’t wait to meet you!
