What is National United Miss?

Fondly nicknamed our “Redemption Round”, National United Miss is a second chance to represent IUM as a reigning queen and to experience a prize package like no other. NUM Delegates will compete in the same required competitions alongside their age division, but scores will be applied to their respective division.

National United Miss is a separate division than the International Queens. Only delegates registered for NUM are eligible for the titles. National queens receive the same prize package as the international queens.

How to Qualify

To be eligible to compete for the National United Miss Title, you must have (at least one of the following):

  • Competed for a State Title at your live state pageant and placed as a runner-up in your division

  • Won an optional competition at a state competition.

  • Applied for an appointed state title where the state title is no longer available.

  • Previously held a State Title with IUM

Divisions

National Little Miss

Selected from Princess & Jr. Preteen Regional or City Titles

National Junior Miss

Selected from Preteen & Jr. Teen Regional or City Titles

National Miss

Selected from Teen, Miss & Ms. Regional or City Titles

Please note: At IUM, our scoring is unique. Judge’s are instructed to only score the girl on stage for her own performance, and at no time will we do a division lineup. NUM Delegates will compete alongside their own division (ex. Teens with Teens, and Ms. with Ms.) so delegates will be scored appropriately for their age. The highest overall score from the delegates in each division will win. We have seen time and time again the youngest or the oldest win their division, and everything in between.

Winners crowned at our 10th anniversary pageant in July 2026 are going to EUROPE on a once-in-a-lifetime royalty vacation!
